Shark
Club
Several years ago, a Summer holiday club was set up by volunteers from
Stoke Holy Cross Church, and The Shark Club was born. As the theme
was Noah's Ark, it was called "Stoke Holy
Cross Ark Club", which was then shortened to Shark Club. The main summer Shark Club takes place over
three days in the school summer holidays at Stoke Holy Cross Primary
School. (Keep watching this space to find out the dates for this year.) It is aimed at children which are in school years 1-6.
It is led by members of the church, and local children over year 6
sometimes help out too. Last year was based around the theme of the
computer game, named "Pyramid Rock". Shark Club
also meets on Thursdays during term time at St. Georges Hall,
6.30-7.30pm. This is aimed at
primary-school aged children from year one upwards. For more details about
Shark Club, please contact Sarah
.
